Government Sponsored Oversea Education:

Government Sponsored Oversea Education is a significant action of the Talent Strategy and in China, and an important way to select outstanding talents to go abroad for further study, usually in well-known colleges and universities in countries and regions with developed science and technology and education. The China Scholarship Council is responsible for the implementation of the sponsored oversea education. Authorized by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, this center is the only registration point for the sponsored oversea education in Guangdong province.

 Self-Financed Oversea Education:

Over the past 30 years, through field visits, we have established a friendly and cooperative collaboration with hundreds of schools in dozens of countries around the world, and we can provide professional consultation and guidance for students and help them go through a series of procedures such as application for admission, documents preparation, and visa application. We boast of a success rate of the student visa at over 98%. Destinations for oversea study are as following: The United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.

 Exchange Program:

The International Student Exchange Program is to send students to countries they selected as exchange students to study in local high schools or universities for a year, and exchange students can choose the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, Thailand, Brazil, New Zealand, Mexico and other countries in Europe. Exchange students are sent to colleges in the same research direction for joint study, discussion and research. Students can also choose to attend schools that are academically linked to their schools, which refers to transfer students. Exchange students study prescribed subjects in local schools and participate in school association activities, getting extraordinary experience and the fastest command of a foreign language in the best education system. The valuable experience gained through international exchange programs is often valued by the global first-class universities and enterprises, for it will not only help students build sound personality and mature thoughts, but also apply text-book knowledge to practical experience.

 Academic Qualifications / Skills Authentication in China:

With the consent of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education, Overseas Student Service at the Ministry of Education carries out national authentication for certifications of scholarship and higher education diplomas. The purpose of academic certification is to implement the Chinese government's study-abroad policy to promote international exchanges in education, and to fulfill China's obligations under relevant international conventions and bilateral (multilateral) agreements. At the same time, it enables students with foreign academic qualifications and higher education diploma to study further, work as well as participating in various professional qualification examinations in China. In addition, it provides the basis and advices for domestic employers and schools when identifying oversea degree certificates and higher education diplomas.

GESIE is one of the verification centers set up by Overseas Student Service at the Ministry of Education in Guangdong. We receive students’ certification application documents, without access to evaluation and certification. All documents received will be sent to the headquarter of Overseas Student Service at the Ministry of Education for unified evaluation and certification.

In 2007, 2010 and 2012, the center was awarded by Overseas Student Service at the Ministry of Education the title of “Advanced Verification Center of the Year”.
